Andy Rishton and Sulaiman Javed produced with leather and willow as leaders Wokingham (25) defeated bottom club Bicester & North Oxford (6) by 88 runs.

After being inserted, opener Michael Cowdell (55) stroked a fine half century before Rishton’s 53 from just 30 balls injected momentum into the visiting innings. Javed made a positive late contribution as his undefeated 38 took Wokingham to 236 all out in 56 overs. Ahmad Afgan’s seven for 33 the pick of the home side’s bowling.

Rishton (5-39) and Javed (4-35) then produced as Wokingham took to the field as they bowled out Bicester & North Oxford for 148 in 43.4 overs. Only Marcus Jeacock (30) and Ryan Moore (54) performing with the bat.

Slough(25) remain second after they recovered from 12 for 4 to record a dramatic three-wicket victory at Oxford (10).

Sahaan Sahaan produced an outstanding knock as his unbeaten 114 from 108 balls (15 fours and 2 sixes), supported by Umair Mushtaq (48) and Yash Lakhani (33 not out), took the Berkshire side (238-7) to an unlikely win. Dylan Swanepoel taking three poles for the hosts.

Earlier, the unbeaten third wicket stand of 170 between Oxford batters Isaac Dikgale and Brendon Smith dominated proceedings. The pair took Oxford to 234 for 2 from 55 overs as Dikgale finished with 112 and Smith closed on 81.

Datchet (23) are third after they recorded a seven-wicket win at Gerrards Cross (2) at Dukes Lane.

After being inserted, only the home side’s opener Matthew Pannett (48) produced as the visiting bowling attack of Yousef Majid (3-13 from nine overs), supported by Steven Naylor and Girish Radhakrishnan with a brace of victims, removed them for 122.

Datchet lost just three batters in the chase, with Shahbaz Azizullah (37 not out) and Murad Khan’s 41-ball half century leading them home.

Jamaican international all-rounder Derval Green’s stunning spell helped Horspath (25) to twenty-five points as they beat Falkland (6) by five wickets.

Green’s six for 45 from a match-winning thirteen overs helped bowl Falkland all out for 113. Only Bobby Brown (55) and Brandon Gilmour (31) threatening with the bat.

Horspath had six players chip in, reaching double figures, as they lost five wickets in their successful 28-over chase.

Chesham (25) eased to an eight-wicket win at Thame Town (2) as they recorded the quickest maximum of the day.

The visitors saw their bowling attack rip through the home side’s batting with Jonathan Burden and Henry Sussum doing the damage. Thame were dismissed for 71 all out with five players not troubling the scorers. Burden, the Chesham skipper, finished with four for 25, while Sussum took three for 9.

Chesham took just 8.2 overs to reach their target as Daniel Ward (25 not out) and Henry Moore (22 not out) gave them their first victory of the season.
