Finchampstead Have Announced A Major Boost As Chris Britz Returns For their 2025 Home Counties Premier League, Division One Campaign.
The talented Britz was a key figure during their successful 2024 season, which saw them pipped for the title during a dramatic last few hours on the final day. In his second season with the club, he skippered the side before returning to South Africa early. His performances earned him the 2024 player-of-the-year award as he amassed 654 runs in his 14 games at an average of 54.5. He scored six half centuries and one hundred, which was his highest score (131).
Britz has spent the winter playing for Easterns (Eastern Transvaal) in South Africa.
With the addition of Dan Marles, who has made the switch back to his boyhood club from High Wycombe, Finchampstead will be hoping to go one better in 2025.
